There are a lot of critical players and components involved in the process of administering the right drug and dosage at the right time to the right individual – from the doctor who orders the medication, to the pharmacist that reviews and bundles it, to the nurse who administers it. As so many factors can be impactful to the patients’ safety, it’s critical to seamlessly integrate every aspect of giving and receiving a medication safely.
