True device EHR integration reduces errors

Health care providers expect smart pump integration to the electronic health record (EHR) to greatly improve patient safety, according to a KLAS Special Report published earlier this year. Providers interviewed for the report agreed EHR integration reduces the chance for programming errors, increases compliance with dose error reduction systems, and helps facilitate better decisions by physicians and other clinical staff....
