Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC will have 95 percent of the process of switching from paper medical records to electronic medical records completed by year’s end, and the switchover is expected to be 100 percent when the hospital moves next spring to its new Lawrenceville facility, where no space has been allocated for paper-record storage.
