Upgrade Center hits major milestone

Earlier this year, the Upgrade Center achieved a huge milestone by completing its 500th Millennium upgrade since inception in 2005. The Upgrade Center started with a small team of around 20 associates at our Oaks campus in Kansas City. Today, it has a dedicated team of more than 200 experienced associates focused completely on upgrades.

Paving the way to improved pediatric patient safety

Earlier this month, Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota was honored with the Way Paver Award for Institutional Achievement for implementing a barcode point-of-care (BPOC) system for neonatal and pediatric care. The award recognized the culmination of a concerted effort by Children's Minnesota to improve the safety of IV medication administration to pediatric patients.
